I'm leaving to Tijuana tomorrow with my aunt for a few days; the bad thing is that the airplane leaves at 6:40 AM and we have to leave the house at 3:30 AM. I've tried to sleep a bit but I can't, mostly because when I go to sleep at a certain hour (lets say, about 11:00 PM)I can't go to sleep earlier and since I'll take a shower at about 1:00 AM, I won't go to sleep because I would feel like crap when I wake up.
It's going to be a long day :(

I went to the nutriologist on Wednsday and now I have a new eating regime; I started officially today and I've been feeling good, althought a big hungry, but I've been eating pretty much according to the diet plan.
I need to lose about 11% of body fat (which is like 25 punds) And of course I need to work out more, but I'm confident I'll lose the body fat and weight.

For the first time, today (actually, a few minutes back) I saw that 2girls1cup video (yeah, I live under a rock) and I want to sccrath my eyes after watching it :O

I'm pretty sure I'm catching a cold; sore throat, headache, and now sneezing and a runny nose.
The last time I got sick was almost 6 months ago in London and it was quite nasty and it seems it would be the same this time.
I just hate colds :(

Again, Photobucket is being a piece of crap. Aparently this has been happening to a lot of users: the main page redirects to another site, obviousy can't log in and pics hosted there do not show.
I hope it starts working fine again, otherwise I'll have a fit. I don't want to lose all the pics I have :(

I've found a new obsession in the form of MythBusters; I watched some episodes some time ago, but stopped watching and now I'm on the wagon once again, but this time it struck me way more (possibly because of the big crush I have on Jamie)
I've been trying to find episodes online with so-so luck. I know there are DVDs but I don't know which episodes they have (guess I have to do a better search on Google)

I think I've caught the dumb. Last night I was trying to make a mental multiplication and I just couldn't get it rigth, so I had to use a calculator. I also tried to divide a number with the same desastrous result.
And today I was trying to make a division on a paper, and when I used a calculator, the numbers didn't match. I did it again manually and I got the exact result. The worst part is when I tried to make a multiplication and I realized I was placing the numbers wrong.
Math has never been my forte, but this was just ridiculous and a bit scary. Seems like I need to go back to the 6th grade :(

Sometimes there's nothing better than watch really bad movies on TV, specially when those movies are supposed to be scary and be taken 'seruously' but one can't stop laughing at the stupidity of the plot and the really bad cting; I spent two days watching bad movies and I LOLed a lot.

Just like I thought it would happen, I was denied a visa once again. I might try next year, but honestly I don't really care anymore. I just don't understand what the hell these people really want from you in terms of providing proof that you have savings, you won't stay in the USA if you are going as a tourist, etc.

I'm about to die of nervousness here; tomorrow I have an appointment at the Embassy to try to get my USA visa again; I went to the Consulate last year and I was denied, but I hope I have better luck tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath and honestly I don't expect to have the visa again, but whatever will be, will be.

Yesterday, and for the first time *hides in shame* I watched 'A street car named desire' and, aside the fact that is a great movie, Marlon Brando looked soooooooooo fine. I think I'll just have to buy the movie.

The fires are incontrolable on Southern California and I'm pretty scared the fire could spread south the border; I live in Tijuana with my mom but currently I'm in Mexico City with my aunt. I hope nothing happens, but just in case, I asked my mom to save my photo album and my computer.
Something similar happened 6 years ago and the fire didn't get to my city and I hope it doesn't happen this time :(

Today I made log in on my Photobucket account to upload some images, as I do basically every day. And to no big surprise (because this has happened before), I found that a some stuff I had in some albums (mostly gifs and some avatars) were removed because they violated the terms of service(I don't even remember what the images/gifs were, but some of those I can imagine). I was very pissed off, but I figured that a lot of them were quite, well, raunchy. I'm affraid this will happen again.
I just hope they don't dare to delete anything Placebo related (even though I don't think there's any violent, gross, pornographic, etc content on those pics/gifs) because I'll have a fit.

I can't stand that constant hammering that's going on in the house next door since yesterday; I don't know what the hell they're doing (most likely repairing something) but that damn noise is driving me crazy and I feel like my head is about to split open.

Bueno, después de 5 días desde que se dio a conocer qhe Steve Hewitt dejó Placebo y de sentirme triste y de llorar ese día, he pasado a la fase de 'me vale madre.'
Leyendo las respuestas de fans en foros de discusión y una que otra comunidad de LJ, me he dado cuenta que no sólo me vale, sino que muchos de los fans nada más están especulando por aquí y por allá, culpando de su salida a los otros miembros del grupo (en especial culpando al vocalista, que si bien no es santo de mi devoción, definitivamente no creo que tenga vela en el enierro); que si Steve era poco menos que un santo y que Placebo no lo merece (se nota que era/es muy amable con los fans, pero sólo por eso no es la octava maravilla de este mundo); que si Placebo es un asco como banda y que sus actitudes son pésimas y son sell outs (sí, reconozco que su actitud ha cambiado un poco, que no le echan muchas ganas en el escenario y no cambian su set-list. En cuanto a ser 'sell out', supongo que se refieren principalmente a su reciente participación en Projekt Revolution, donde compartieron escenario con Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, etc. Si bien estas dos bandas no son de mi gusto musical, no entiendo específicamente porque el haber realizado esa gira los tilda como 'sell outs'; ni que hubieran estado en un episodio de My Super Sweet 16, como MCR hizo en un episodio que vi recientemente).
Yo sé que Steve era una parte importante para el grupo; después de todo fue baterista de la banda por 11 años, pero para mí es muy exagerado decir que la banda (o lo que queda de ella) se va a disover/debería disolverse porque Steve ya no está. Y si bien, como mencioné, Steve era importante para el grupo, no es como si fuera la figura musical más importante. Con toda la pena, sólo es el baterista. Y creo que es muy notorio que la composición de la música y letra de las canciones recae principalmente en Brian y Stefan (que a mi parecer, y sin hacer menos a Steve, son prácticamente las figuras principales en Placebo) y si llega un nuevo baterista, no habrá mucha diferencia, a menos que dicho baterista tenga un papel más relevante en cuanto a la composición de letras y música.
También está el hecho de que la noticia fue bastante repentina; yo (y estoy segura que todos) no se imaginaban que algo así llegara a pasar; muchos fans están enojados porque no hubo ninguna señal o algo que los 'preparara' para lo que iba a venir; que si en la gira de PR debieron de haber anunciado que Steve se iba. Pero la verdad es que nadie más que Placebo sabe cómo se dieron exactamente las cosas; nadie sabe mas que ellos cuándo llegó la decisión de Steve de dejar el grupo. Quizá, como a todos, les cayó de sorpresa (aunque era un poco notorio que existía un alejamiento entre ellos, puesto que Steve no siempre era visto con Brian y Stefan, que se ve que son muy unidos).
Por otro lado, y algo que los fans no se han puesto a pensar, es que, cuando se dio a conocer la noticia de que Steve dejaba el grupo, Brian fue quien dio una declaración al respecto, no el propio Steve; sólo se dijo que dejaba el grupo por 'cuestiones personales y musicales'; si bien no tiene que dar razones específicas, por lo menos una declaración de su parte (sólo han pasado 5 días, y espero que haya algo más específico).
Y tampoco falta el choteado tema de 'a Placebo sólo le interesa el dinero'; pues claro que les interesa ganar dinero; francamente, yo no me estresaría haciendo giras por aquí y por allá de a gratis; yo no sé de cuestiones musicales en cuanto a manejo de artistas y contratos disqueros, pero creo que es notorio que la banda no hace el itinerario de sus giras ni deciden en qué países (aunque muchos fans se quejan de que ellos no van a X país y es notorio que la banda prefiere dar conciertos en ciertos países más que en otros). Y en cuanto a ediciones, re-ediciones de sus discos, eso, a mi parecer, es cuestión del contrato que tienen con la casa disquera. También existe la queja de los fans que la banda sólo quiere aprovecharse y ganar más dinero; según he oído, los artistas musicales ganan más dinero realizando presentaciones en vivo que con la venta de discos (y creo que es muy notorio que la disquera se ha de quedar con un buen porcentaje de la venta) Y no sólo el artista ha de ganar dinero de la venta de discos, supongo que de ahí sale el presupuesto para hacer videos, le pagan al productor, al fotógrafo y quén sabe a cúantas personas más. Además, en cuanto a las giras, también han de pagar los boletos de avión, cuartos de hotel, tal vez comidas, transporte y obviamente a los otros músicos que los acompañan, así como a sus técnicos.
Por último, está la cuestión de la música. A algunos (o a muchos fans, sobre todo los que los han seguido hace más de 6-7 años o desde el principio de su carrera) no les gusta la dirección musical que han seguido (que si el último disco es malo, que si ya no tienen la 'esencia' de antes, que si las canciones son muy malas) Con toda la pena, muchos de esos fans no saben de lo que están hablando. A mí me parece más loable el hecho de que sus letras y la música evolucionen en cada disco, que hacer una segunda, tercera o cuarta versión del primer o segundo disco. Si a los fans no les gusta esa evolución, pues qué mal porque después de todo, es la música que ellos hacen y la inspiración de ahora no es la misma que hace 8 o 10 años; la gente cambia y las circunstancias cambian y según mi punto de vista, eso se nota en sus discos, sobre todo en el más reciente, que si bien a muchos no les gusta, a mí me parece muy bueno y es muy notorio el cambio que se dio comparado con el primer disco.
También está el hecho de que algunos fans quieren el Placebo de antes y se sienten decepcionados cuando los miembros de la banda no hablan muy bien o no les gusta comentar respecto a cómo eran hace 8 o 10 años; tal vez viveron situaciones muy poco agradables en aquellas épocas y simplemente no quieren hablar al respecto y es comprensible.

Bueno, creo que por el momento, es todo en lo que puedo pensar (sí, es mucho)

OMG I'm so crushed right now. Steve Hewitt just left Placebo. Apparently they'll record a new album in the Spring and obviously they'll have to find another drumer; but it just won't be the same.
